Close A Referral

Close A Referral

The 'Close A Referral' feature in the CURD app allows users to manage their referrals and posts when they have either successfully completed a deal or no longer require the post on the platform. This feature is available for two types of posts: 'Asking for a Referral' and 'Refer a Friend' (One-on-One referral).

Q72. How do you Close a 'Ask for a Referral' Post:

1. Closing Referrals on Referral Level:

  • When a referrer refers a business or lead on your 'Ask for a Referral' post, you have several options:

  • You can thank them for the referral and mark the referral as read.

  • Choose the 'Close with' option to close the referral with that particular Referrer in the comment section.

2. Closing with a Specific Referrer on the 'Ask for a Referral' Post:

  • If the referrer has only referred to a single business, you can click on 'Close with,' and a screen will appear.

  • The referrer's name and the business's name will be mentioned.

  • You'll be asked to specify the Closed business value (in USD).

  • If the referrer has referred multiple leads or businesses, you can choose a specific business to close the referral by selecting that business's name in the 'Business name' option.

  • If you want to close the referral with multiple businesses or leads, you can click 'add another business' and provide the necessary details.

3. Option to Close the Referral Post:

  • You have the option to close the entire referral post by ticking a checkbox. If you decide not to close the referral post, a banner will be displayed at the top of the post indicating that the post is still open, but a deal has been closed. A toast message will prompt you that the post is still open.

4. Closing Referrals on Post Level:

  • On the 'Ask for a Referral' post, you can specify whether you've closed a deal or not and provide details of the deal.

5. Not Closing a Deal on the 'Asking for a Referral' Post:

  • If you didn't close any deals, you can select 'No.'

  • You'll need to choose a reason for not closing the deal. You can also provide your own description or reason for not closing the deal by clicking on 'others.' This helps referrers and other users track the post's status.

Q73. How do you Close a 'Refer a Friend' Post (One-on-One Referral):

1. Closing a 'Refer a Friend' Post:

  • For 'Refer a Friend' posts, when you decide to close a business, a screen will appear asking if you closed a deal. You can choose between 'Yes' and 'No.'

2. Closing a Deal on a 'Refer a Friend' Post:

  • If you select 'Yes' for closing a deal, you need to mention the Closed business value (in USD).

  • The business with which the deal is closed will be mentioned.

3. Not Closing a Deal on a 'Refer a Friend' Post:

  • If you select 'No' for not closing a deal on a 'Refer a Friend' post, you must mention the reason for not closing the deal.

4. Providing Additional Details or Reasons:

  • There's an option to provide additional details or reasons for not closing a deal. This helps referrers and other users understand the status of the post better.
