Messenger Module

Q88. What is the Messenger module in CURD?

  • Messenger in CURD is a feature that allows you to communicate and interact with users on the CURD app. It provides a convenient way to send messages, share media, and manage your conversations.

Q89. What are the "General" and "Leads" tabs in Messenger?

  • The Messenger is divided into two tabs: "General" and "Leads."

  • "General" tab: Contains messages sent by you or received from your connections and through Cmail. Cmail allows users to message individuals they are not connected with on the app.

  • "Leads" tab: Displays messages from leads who came through referral posts made by you and others on CURD.

Q90. What options do I have for managing my messages in the Messenger?

  • You can perform various actions on messages, including copying, replying, deleting, editing, sharing, and saving.

  • "Save" feature: Allows you to save specific messages, including media, for later use. You can manage your saved messages and post them in the Messenger whenever needed.

Q91. How can I report offensive messages in the Messenger?

  • If you encounter offensive messages, you can choose to block and report the user. To report someone, go to the specific chat, click on the kebab menu, and select "Block and Report." You can choose from predefined reasons like harassment, fraud, sexual content, or select "other" to provide more details about the issue.

Q92. How does the 1:1 video call feature work in the Messenger?

  • The Messenger includes an option to initiate and schedule 1:1 video calls, when you enter a specific chat.

  • You can choose to "connect now" or "schedule for later." When scheduling, you can specify the time zone, date, start time, and end time.

  • To schedule or initiate a 1:1 video call, you need to be logged in via Google, as CURD uses Google Meet. If you are logged in to CURD through social media sites or Apple, you will be prompted to log in to your GMAIL to schedule.

Q93. What information can I see in the profile view section of the Messenger module?

  • The profile view provides information about the user, including the number of connections they have and the number of mutual connections you share. If the user has business profiles, you can also see the number of businesses they are associated with.

  • In the profile view, you can check shared media between both of you and the number of referrals in terms of active referrals and closed referrals.
